We continuously scan dark web forums, marketplaces, paste sites, and credential dumps for your personal information — including SSN, email addresses, phone numbers, and passwords. When we find a match, you'll receive an instant alert with specific steps to resolve the exposure and protect your accounts.

Why does EverGuard need my personal information?

We need your SSN, address, and other details to monitor them for fraud. We can't protect information we don't know about. For example, to detect if your SSN appears on the dark web or if someone opens credit in your name, we need your SSN to match against breach databases and credit bureau records. All information is encrypted with AES-256.

When you receive an alert, tap it to see full details about the threat. Each alert includes: what was detected, where it was found, the severity level (Red/Yellow/Green), and specific action steps you should take. For Red Alerts, we provide guided resolution workflows. You can also mark alerts as resolved or request help from our AI assistant.

Some alerts may be delayed if our systems are verifying legitimacy to prevent false positives. Not all activity triggers alerts — only suspicious or high-risk events.

EverGuard does not monitor: your bank account balances or transactions (only alerts if accounts are compromised), private databases we don't have access to, or real-time location tracking. We also cannot prevent fraud — we detect and alert you to threats so you can take action. Think of us as an early warning system, not a prevention system.
